Miyuki Seed Beads

It seems inconceivable that we could add even one more beads to our amazing stock of beads at The Beadcage. However, we have defied the laws of efficiency and come up with a way to add over 800 new products to our store. Most stores do not even have 800 products, but we are actually adding this amount to the thousands already at The Beadcage. We brought in about 3000 packages of seed beads. Eight hundred new colors and styles of Miyuki Delica seed beads are out and waiting for you to purchase.

When you shop at The Beadcage on line or in person, we want it to be worth you while. That is why we are adding more products all the time. We know we cannot possibly stock and have on hand every product you are searching for all the time, but we sure are trying. The beads are out and we are working hard to reorder what has already sold out to make sure we have what you want on hand when you need it. Our selection of Miyuki and Toho seed beads is by all standards amazing. We have probably one of the largest selections of seed beads you will find anywhere. In addition, we carry a great variety of good quality Chinese seed beads and other Japanese seed beads.

You will be amazed at the selection of seed beads at the store. Other than the Delica seed beads, most are packaged in “Tic-Tac” boxes with the flip tops. I bring this up to point out something many people do not know. When we started this business, most of our display units were antiqued pine and hardwood furniture. We would actually sell our displays, as they were wonderful unique pieces, and buy new ones.

Since we opened our newest store, many of these great pieces have been sold off. However, we still have several great pieces that are available for sale. We have one bench and several tables and cabinets waiting for new homes. You can come in a find a great deal on wonderful piece at or below wholesale pricing. These are sturdy quality pieces in great condition.

In addition, we have a few jewelry display cases for sale also. These are fine quality pieces in great condition.

It means being a great retailer. It means being professional. For example, when we started The Beadcage, we began with a small stock of Swarovski Crystal purchased from a wholesaler. We were not able to offer competitive prices. So we petitioned Swarovski to become a distributor. We have been a distributor for several years and are able to offer you similar or better prices than the wholesalers we originally bought from. This enabled us to stock every color of Swarovski crystal and more as well as most sizes and colors. At The Beadcage you can buy from one to thousands of a single Swarovski crystal. In addition, we are the only store in the world to carry a 2mm double AB bicone made specially for us. Because of our dedication and high standards, we are one of only a few Swarovski Recommended stores in the country. When you come in, you will quickly see why.

Although making a trip to Columbus just to visit The Beadcage is usually more than enough, some of our shoppers want more.

So, I have come up with some great ideas to make your trip to The Beadcage as fulfilling as possible. The first idea is to contact us for information on any hotel specials we have for our customers. We have special arrangements with nearby hotels that may be available for you during your visit with us. Yes, many people do travel to The Beadcage from all over the United States. Many of our visitors are on their way somewhere and will stop by, but some are coming just for the beads. So we try to be as helpful as possible.

Plan your trip during one of our events or classes and bring some friends. Our classes are a great treat as we often bring in renowned artists and teachers. This way you can make the most of your time by staying and taking a class and shopping at the same time. Having your friends with you will make the time even more enjoyable. We are often having great events including Trunk Shows and specials. Make sure to sign up for our news letter to find out all the specifics, look at our web sites or just call us ahead of time. When you come, please know that we are in the upscale shopping area in Columbus. There is a great Hair Stylist and also spas, right next door. Three doors down is Panera Bread and right next to us is Chico’s and Talbot’s. Trendier stores are across the street. We have car dealerships, bowling, Hollywood Connection, ice cream parlors and the famous Chef Lee’s in walking distance.

A great weekend could also include a trip to Calloway Gardens. From there you are only a short distance to The Beadcage for a shopping excursion. You could make it a weekend to include an upscale downtown hotel and a night at the Springer Opera House. You could even include some time at the Fort Benning National Infantry Museum where you could also take in a show at the IMAX theater.

No matter what your interests or who you will be traveling with, you will be treated to a great day of comfortable shopping at The Beadcage. Be aware that this will not be a quick in and out shop. It will take you hours to go through most of what we have. Most people find that a day is really not enough time. Be aware that our efficient design and displays can be deceiving and there is really more things than you will be able to take in in one day.

The flowers are blooming, the weather is warm, and it is so beautiful this time of year where we live. For some reason, during this time of year, I can get out of bed easier. Actually, it’s a proven fact that less people feel depressed when it’s nice weather outside.

At The Beadcage, we had the best May ever! We were much busier than we ever anticipated. I would like to thank all of you for coming in and being patient, especially this month. All the support from the community, as well as out of towners, was just overwhelming.
